South West Gauteng TVET College (SWGC), in partnership with MICT SETA, W&R SETA, and FoodBev SETA, is officially inviting N6 graduates to apply for the 2026 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme. This initiative is a critical lifeline for students who have completed their theoretical studies but require 18 months of practical experience to qualify for their National N Diploma.
With a monthly stipend of R3 500, this programme bridges the gap between the classroom and the professional world, providing the structured environment necessary to achieve full NATED qualification status.

Itumeleng’s Insider Tip: The “Host Employer” Factor
The requirement for a “letter from the host employer confirming accommodation” is a crucial technicality. This means you should ideally identify a local business or department willing to host you for your practical hours before submitting your application to the college. Having this letter ready significantly increases your chances of immediate approval by the SETA auditors.
